Paneer Bhurji

Vegetarian substitute of Egg Bhurji ,this is a quick and easy dinner dish when teamed with hot Rotis or Parathas.You can also stuff it in between bread,toast them and have them as sandwich.

Paneer Bhurji

 

Ingredients

150 gms Cottage cheese / Paneer grated
1 onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
1 pinch turmeric powder
Salt to taste.


Method

1. Heat oil in a cooking pan and add the cumin seeds to crackle.
2. Saute the onions until light pink.
3. Saute ginger garlic paste.
4. Now add the tomatoes and green chillies.Add the pinch of turmeric.
5. Once the raw smell of tomatoes is gone,add the grated paneer,salt and saute well.
6. Let it cook for sometime till the paneer gets cooking and the raw smell is lost.
7. Garnish with corriander. Goes well with rotis or rice.
